WHOLE 19 YARDS COMPETITION: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Competition entry:
Answer the question stated in the programme, “Whole 19 Yards” (the ‘programme’). Eligible entrants will be entered into a draw to win a prize.

Opening/closing date & time:
· Competition opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, red button and online as stated in the programme.
· Competition closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and red button at 4 p.m. on 15 May 2010.
· Entry via the www.itv.com website is open for at least 3 working days after the programme.

Draw date: Within 3 working days of the closing date and time for all entries.

Method & cost of entry:
· PRTS - call 0901 29 333 01 and follow instructions; up to 5 entries per phone number. Each call costs £1.00 from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more.
· SMS – text the keyword, HOLIDAY plus A, B or C to 88330; up to 5 entries per phone number. The keyword must be spelt correct when entering via SMS. Each text costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.
· Red Button – Sky and Virgin Media viewers press the red button on their remote control; up to 5 entries per phone number. Each red button entry costs £1.00.
· Online – go to www.itv.com and follow the instructions; up to 5 entries per phone number. There is no charge for online entries.

There is no entry via email or post. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries over the maximum number of entries for each method of entry or entries which are misspelt, incomplete, inaudible, incomprehensible or not received by the closing date and time will not be entered into the competition but may still be charged.

Prize:
The first correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the prize, subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions. The prize is a seven-night trip to Cayo Coco in Cuba for the winner and one adult companion, including return travel from London Gatwick, ground transfer from the airport in Cuba to the hotel, hotel accommodation based on two people sharing a twin or double room, a chance to swim with the dolphins, and meals at the hotel including breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as soft drinks and locally-produced alcoholic drinks.

The prize is subject to restrictions and availability, and to confirmation by the prize provider, inclement weather conditions, and to the terms and conditions of the prize provider and/or their agents. The prize is subject to winner confirmation, i.e. the Promoter managing to contact the winner and receiving confirmation of eligibility. The trip must be booked no later than 28 days prior to departure, and must be taken up by 31 May 2011, subject to exclusion dates during public and school holidays when the prize may not be taken up, including but not limited to bank holiday dates and dates during the Christmas, New Year and Easter periods, any and all dates during the month of July and August 2010 inclusive, and such dates as specified by the prize provider and/or their agents.

All elements of the prize must be taken up during one period and not on non-consecutive dates. The winner and their companion must travel together, departing from and returning to the same location. The Promoter cannot guarantee that seats will be adjacent to each other. There is no alternative prize or cash equivalent, and the prize is non-transferable, non-upgradeable and non-changeable. The prize provider endeavours to deliver the prize within 28 days of winner confirmation. The Promoter reserves the right to vary any element of the prize due to reasons beyond the Promoter and/or prize providers’ reasonable control, including but not limited to the unavailability of the website for one or more working days before the competition closing date. The Promoter will not be liable in the event that all or any part of the service relating to the competition is discontinued, modified or changed in any way. Except as set out in the general competition Terms and Conditions, the Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages, losses or for any medical conditions aggravated or incurred by a winner or their companion when taking up the prize.

For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes all other costs and arrangements not included in the prize, including but not limited to any additional accommodation, travel/transportation costs and/or arrangements, travel to the departure airport, UK transfers, ground transportation unless otherwise stated, any additional meals or alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages which are not included in the prize, parking costs, any inoculation and/or vaccination costs, hotel supplementary charges, additional excursions, treatments, spa treatments, telephone calls including local and long distance telephone calls, room service, mini-bar goods, programmes, spending money, personal items, merchandise and souvenirs, tips and gratuities, storage and/or storage fees, mis-delivery costs, supplementary products and services, incidental costs, expenses, taxes and any insurance, including but not limited to car, travel and medical insurance. Costs for services, attractions, facilities, activities and events not included in the prize may incur additional local charges which are payable by the winner and/or their companion. Neither the Promoter nor the prize provider will be held liable where such charges are incurred, and no refund or reimbursement will be made. The Promoter and the prize provider will accept no responsibility where the winner is unable to pay in full, any such charges as incurred.

The winner must follow instructions given by the Promoter and/or prize provider to take up the prize and the winner and their companion are required to adhere to the travel itinerary and all instructions and guidelines given, including but not limited to health and safety instructions in taking up the prize. Other restrictions may apply, including but not limited to health, safety and access restrictions. The Promoter is not liable for any omissions or failures by a winner to abide by these terms. The Promoter will not be liable to reimburse the cost of entry to this competition or any other expenses incurred.

The winner and their companion must hold a valid passport, travel insurance which covers any overseas medical costs which may incur when taking up the prize, and any and all other relevant travel documentation. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they are available during the relevant dates. The winner must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over at the time of entering the competition, and the winner and/or their companion may be required to provide proof of age and eligibility. The employees of any prize provider and their immediate families are not eligible for this competition. The Promoter will only pass an entrant’s data to third parties for marketing purposes if that entrant has asked to receive marketing information from those third parties. The winner and their companion may be required to participate in publicity. The winner’s name may be published at www.itv.com. The Promoter and/or prize provider may be required to send the personal data of the winner and their companion to third parties outside the United Kingdom, for the purposes of fulfilling and administering the prize and the winner agrees to such transfer for these purposes.

The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the competition draw date on the phone number they provided when entering the competition. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the competition has been made. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery of the prize, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition Terms and Conditions and elsewhere as applicable, may result in forfeiture of the prize. If they cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, then the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries.
