Hi,
Does anyone know which F connector I require to set up:
http://www.thedigiboxshop.com/tv-links-magic-eyes-global-sky-tv-link-silver.html
I already have an amplifier unit connected from my Sky+ box and want to run an additional cable to another TV, attempted to fit a standard Coxial Connector but this doesn't work.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Co-ax cable from the secondary output.
Did you have the wrong sex of plug?0 -
Yes I have the cable just unsure which F connectors I require, you can't fit standard coaxial connectors as doesn't carry signal. I can remember having this problem when I fitted my first magic eye 6 years ago. Any ideas which F connector I require.
This is my booster/spilter..

Do you mean you are taking the second output and putting it through an distribution amp first and you wish to use one of these outputs to feed a "magic eye" to control the Sky box?
What else is the distribution amp feeding?
When I had a magic eye I just used "ordinary" coax plugs0 -
Amp runs from sky plus box and then has 4 out sockets, 1 of these runs to a TV upstairs and worked fine for 6 years. I want to connect another TV to the AMP, just don't know what type of F connectors I require?0

What do you have on the cable that runs to the other TV? It will be one of those0

You do not want F Connectors, they are for satellite feed cables. You require standard TV coax, or Belling lee connectors, pick them up from any DIYstore.
BTW Magic eyes will not work unles your amplifier has a DC pass through.
Belling Lee plug F type connectorThat gum you like is coming back in style.0
