Link on facebook from unknown empty picture.

I've just been on facebook and whilst scrolling down my homepage i have come across a link next to one of those generic pictures people get before they upload a profile picture.

Anyway this one has no name attached to it and it doesn't say suchabody likes at the beginning of link it just has a link.

Which is this

I haven't clicked the link, but how has that got on my facebook and when i try to hide it by clicking the hide button to the right of link, it doesn't say hide suchabody..instead just says cancel in a box button.

Can i get rid of it and will it be ok if it just stays there and what is it please if anyone has come across it before....i've googled but not come up with much.

If you go into your account settings youll probably find an 'unknown app' in there for you to remove it

Theyve got it on there as your probably one of those people that adds every app they see and someones hacked one or one wasnt legit to start with

Honest i'm not a great application adder :rotfl:

Thats why i thought it was odd, i only really go on to keep up with distant mates.

I will check the application settings bit though and how do you do a screen shot...:o

Ok went in and there were more and some in foreign languages. So i went to applications and just deleted them all as they were never used.

Lets see when i log in later to check.

To do a screenshot, press the "Prnt Scrn" button on your keyboard.

Then paste it onto paint and save it, and upload it on a site like Photobucket or Tinypic [at least, that's how I do it.]

if you use vista or W7 then it has a built in snipping tool for screen grabs

It's quite easy to use! You'll pick it up in no time!
