Tesco's meal deal glitch!

was in local tesco today bought what i thought was the meal deal got
1x chicken and asparagus
1x potato and bacon
1x caramel tart no wine asked assistant for help and got none . first time buying meal deal.
they have asked me to go in tomoro what am i entitled to
if anyone can help lol

You forgot your wine.You already said that, i didnt read it properly, just go in tommorrow and ask them for your bottle of wine that you are entitled to, take your receipt to prove you didnt get one.

The normal meal deal is 1 main, 1 side, 1 dessert and 1 wine.
This glitch is allowing 2 mains, 1 desert and 1 wine.

These mains do actually serve 2 people unlike some of the M&S dine in offers where i could eat 2 people portions and still have more. When we got an M&S deal the other week i was still starving after eating it as there was hardly anything to it.

tesco definayely wins the meals deals wars for me, even the £5 meal deal, the chicken and baon pasta is delicious.


We just had our steak pies for tea, my eyes were bigger than my belly and i asked for 2 pies cos i was starving, i didnt manage to eat my second i was too full and would have exploded, was a scrummy pie though, loads of meat and gravy this time and the pastry wasnt dry at all this time, luckilly my DD polished of my pie after eating her kiev and she's only 2 so i dont know where she puts it all.

Yes they are, so are the kievs. I can also highly reccomend the potato and bacon side dish and ALL the desserts, they really need to bring the profiterole tower back.

am guessing the best way to test is to try it on the self scan machines prior to buying?

Yup..... I tried to buy:
2x Kievs
1x Millionaire Choc desert
1x the red £9.99 bottle

BTW - I put the same items in my basket online and they worked, just not in store.

Just had my delivery and glitch worked for me!:j

Chicken Kiev
Steak Diane
Steak Pies
Braised beef with melton red ale
Strawberry cheesecake
Millionaire desserts
Sauv Blanc wine
Chardonney wine

And just chomping into a millionaire's pud (couldn't wait :rotfl:) and it's extremely yummy:)
