Tesco's meal deal glitch!

was advertised in my local - dudley - but hardly anything on shelves at all....

It was still working in my Tesco this morning and is still available online. There wasn't a massive choice but our Tesco is not one of the giant ones.

I am interested in this glitch but nobody in my house drinks. I saw from an earlier post that 6 small bottles of Coke can be substituted for the wine. However when I asked in store I was told that this is only in Scotland or Ireland. The head of grocery I spoke to actually said she had highlighted this to Head Office a few times already with no response. When M & S first started it's meal deal it very quickly realised that not everyone drinks and substituted two large cartons of juice or a box of chocolates. I am going to write to Mr Leahy to see what he has to say. After all he was spouting off this week about having a social concience about cheap drink so what about free alcohol then!!
