Windows 7 student license

I have an installation of Windows 7 however I need a license. I thought I could instal on two machines but one is now saying it needs a license. My son is a primary student and it is for his laptop (window 7 professional currently installed).
Can anyone recommed a good place to buy a license for a student? I have looked at Pugh but have no experience of them. Also - can I use an upgrade license as I do not need to instal anything as the OS is still running - I just need a valid key.
Thanks for any help.

Pugh is ok. About the cheapest if you qualify.0

Thanks. Just need to work out if the upgrade license is okay. I'll call them Monday and hopefully they can confirm.0
