Can someone please help me?

I have a Paypal account with £60.00p credit in it and wish to buy an item from an internet retailer costing £75.00p. Will paypal automatically take my balance of my account and take the remaining £15.00p from my registered credit card.

Or do I have to transfer the £15.00p to my paypal account first if so how?

Paypal will use the money in your paypal account and if they need any extra they will take it from your nominated bank account.Hope this helps

I rarely have anything in my Paypal account, only if I've had a refund.

If you have a credit or debit card registered then it will be debited the £15 balance.

Thank you do Paypal charge me for taking the £15.00p from my credit card?

The reason why I ask is I saw on the account website that transfers from a UK bank account to the account take 3-5 days and are free?

    Hi ya,

Paypal will always use the balance in your account first .....

Then you will be given the option of how you want to pay the remainder , either though your registered bank account or by the credit card that you have registered with them ..... Just make sure that you " tick " the credit card option....

You will not have to transfer any money to your paypal account ...

Your £15 doesn't count as a transfer, a transfer would be if you moved money to your PP account from your bank.

As I said, I very rarely have anything sitting in my PP account, payment is still instant when funds are taken from your bank/card etc.

    And no charge.
