I don't know of any members who live in S Wales, though I might be wrong....

Wales has been on the internet for quite a while.:)

    Yes.

I like to hear of situations from all over the UK and not just my own little bubble as i think it's all relevant as a UK citizen.

It just comes over as a bit rude that you don't GAF about anyone else as long as your ok, that's all.

Edit: Mine is up 3.2% annual to the end of last year
Maybe I'm just applying to others the same rules Hamish et al apply when I post anecdotals about my own area - that it's irrelevant, because it's contrary to the national figures.

TBH, I don't GAF about what happens in West Wales, no. Had nearlynew, a fellow poster who apparently actually lives there :), posted an anecdotal about their own area, it would have been an interesting anecdote from someone whom it actually meant something to.

But to desperately search out 1 area, irrelevant to (almost) everyone, including the poster concerned, where prices are rising, just seems a little bit desperate, somehow.

Imagine if I did that - started a separate thread for every area where prices are falling. Given that's currently happening in c 81% of postcodes, IIRC, that would be quite astonishingly dull...

Have some chocolate, ss, and join us over on the Nice People thread again. :)
