Im a FTB and my new place has elec and gas. By last 2 rental properties have only had elec, so i have no idea what i estimate my usuage for gas to be.
The only thing i have to go on is my last elec bill for 3 mths, which was £120, so £40 mth. My rental place is a grade 2 listed cottage, 1 bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom. No double glazing as is listed property windows cannot be altered, storage heaters.
My hopefully new place is a ground floor flat, 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom, double glazing on lounge and main bedroom window, raditors in each room, plus fire place in lounge.
Im guessing my 'winter' usage would be a lot cheaper than where i currently live, as with having storage heaters and no double glazing my elec bills here for winter is always sky high.
Any rough ideas on what id pay a mth? Would just like an idea for my budget.
