How to remove Bosch dishwasher top?

I have Bosch slimline dishwasher which has been playing up for some time. Usually it won't finish, sometimes it won't fill, sometimes it won't empty. I suspect a problem with the float system on the LH side of the machine, so I need to remove the LH panel which has screws under the worktop/lid.
I've taken a few washers apart in the past but I can't see how to remove the lid on this. It looks like it hinges at the rear but under the middle looks like 2 slider bars.
I've tried lifting it and sliding it but not too hard as I don't want to break it. Does something (a screwdriver?) slide into the slider channels to release a spring clip or something?
Any ideas appreciated.

I don't know if this will help, but my husband says there are usually some screws on the back and once these are removed the lid should slide either forward or backwards, maybe worth a try if you haven't already sorted it0

Sorted it. The bits at the back which looked like hinges were actually plastic tags and by squeezing them the lid could be slid back and off.
The float mechanism was completely full of slime which I've cleared out. It's running well at the moment - I just need to check the time counts down to 0 and the dishwasher stops by itself, which it didn't before.
