Who's the Bank? makes a big difference in my view as to what advice to offer.
Some seem to respond to one line and others to another and, oh yes, then there's Santander, who respond to nothing!:rotfl: Aren't we lucky people to have had some of our financial institutions taken over by them.
Still, I expect tomorrow will do ...... Manana (sorry don't know how to put accents on?).

  • Have you tried speaking to your bank to see if they are willing to freeze your charges for a while so that you can get them sorted. It does depend on your bank though but you could at least give it a go.
Not sure about credit card but perhaps check the main site to see if there is a good 0% balance transfer offer out there that will allow you to transfer your overdraft.

these charges are part of your terms and conditions. how much are you paying per month? are you over your limit?

an account with these conditions does not exist. all banks will want regular payment into the account, and as soon as you stop paying regularly into the old account they are likely to ask for repayment within 30 days or so. as for not charging for overdrafts, why would a bank offer a product that will not make them a profit?

any advise greatly appreciated cause im going round in circles.

my advice is to factor in your monthly charges and work out exactly how much you have per month to spend. Start living within your means and pay off the overdraft
