Orange Mobile Contract- NOT RECORDING on Credit Report

Hi,

I need some help...

I have a mobile contract with ORANGE since September 2009- the problem is that they haven't been recording my payment performance on my report, and i've been paying by direct debit ever since.

I've asked Orange to start recording my account with the three reference agencies, and they've done it, but they can't backdate it...

I applied for some credit with Argos, and they declined my application because of 'lack of repayment' history...

I've explained this to Orange- and they won't listen. They can't add my repayment history to my report...

What can I do now??

Orange really cannot do that for you.

Argos - I have perfect credit score and was declined by them for a credit card (was trying to milk it with paying over 12 months at 0% etc). Never bothered again with them.

You can check if you are registered on the electrical register, apply for a credit card with your bank etc, open some other account with another bank - basically build up your credit history via that - but you still might find Argos refuse you a credit card (for whatever reason, maybe they want people with bad credit history).
