Phew. Decided to tackle the very big black patch on the ceiling in the room I'm in. Nearly did myself a mischief!! Had to climb up a small step ladder and then step onto a large blanket box in the alcove. Then spray the stuff (which all fell off so had to use a scrubber to get it on the ceiling whilst balancing holding an open window) and then wipe it off as much as possible without the stuff getting in my hair, I can smell the bleach and I don't want spotty hair :eek: Then I had to get down again....graceful it was not....... I'd say about 90% better so I'm happy with that!

Will do the black patch in the bathroom when I clean it tomorrow.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

yeah, bit precarious BoS, even more so that I'm not the most 'agile' of folk and my back is pretty shot to bits at the moment. But it looked awful, I've apologised in advance to my parents - twice!! I'll tackle the bathroom which is a bit easier to balance/spray/wipe but the little bit in the living room will have to stay like that as it means pulling the sofa out and getting the bigger step ladder out.

    Buffy~How ya doing hun?

Not so great, went out and felt really ill (dizzy, cold and light headed, even saw stars at one point) came home and went to bed. I shall have to go to the doctors, its been happening such a lot lately, today really frightened me. Been asleep until about an hour ago.

I fancy the new Doctor. He reminds me of Reid from Criminal Minds and a bloke I used to be friends with years ago - who I was basically in love with but never told (these days he is a bit of sad git so its all for the good!)

I did my black patches in the bath when Mum was away - stood on a stool in the bath- it moved, I moved. The black patch stayed!

Buffy - it's really rare for me to know what a film/TV person looks like, but I finally can think 'aha - I know who Reid from Criminal Minds is' :D

Bit skinny for me ;) (and too young!!)

Sadly true in real life for doctor who (27) but as he is a timelord and about 600 years old its fine!

and the bloke that plays Reid is just 30, so a little les wrong!

actually they are pretty similar looking, I can tell the kind of man you go for Buffy ;)

Just had a thought........imagine you were in bed with the doctor and he 'changed' during the night and you woke up and he had gone from someone young to someone really old overnight :rotfl:
