Sony Vivaz Help please

Wife has just taken delivery of a nice shiny Vivaz
trouble is we cant appear to sort a very basic function
She wants to use a previously taken photo of our daughter as a wallpaper
the photo displays correctly when viewing it through the photos folder....when she applies it as a wallpaper it changes its orientation from portrait to landscape although the phone
is held normally and it also resizes itself hugely so the photo cannot be viewed
Surely this can be altered in some form of settings...we just cant find how!

Not sure if it helps but try changing it on your pc to the correct orientation then re send to the dog and bone, I had a similar problem with one of mine with my old phone, now got a desire and have had no prob's yet with these settings.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . The orientation is correct when viewing it on the phone
for whatever reason when applying it as a wallpaper the phone rotates the image 90 degrees0
