    The way I view prepayment meters is you pay more for the energy, and chances are you will use what energy you use anyway, even after going to great effort to reduce your usage - so why pay more for the same energy and go to the hassle of finding a paypoint at 5am and adding it to the meter etc. I am also moving into a flat soon and hope to be rid of the prepayment meters very quickly, and hopefully with the credit meters try find the supplier which is likely to be cheapest and swap to them.
