Look for how many printings it can do in a minute, cost of inks for a printer you find so use sites like ink cycle or cartridge monkey to find how much inks would be, there are other sites but these 2 were examples0

Brother laser printers offer versatile performance and good value. Most people only need to print black text / images on white paper (B/W). This offers NO ink costs (at £2500 / litre ! ) They use toner and will print around 2500 - 5000 per refill, still on my original one years later.

Pro
Nice colour prints (Guessing) Ok if you want to print colour at 3 in the morning.
Cons
Print heads dry up if not used daily. Not for every day letters. Poor quality compared to laser output. UK spent £700 million on inks last year, do you ? PC World are selling it. Inks +£31 for refills (PC WORLD) Three colour ink + black system not photo-realistic printer then. ( Go to Tesco photo labs)0 -
What are your specific printing requirements you do not say.
A4, A3 Duplex, monthly print volume, high quality output, office use, B/W, colour volume, Ethernet or wireless connection.0 -
Hi
I want to use it for printing off vouchers , to scan photo's onto a forum ? / computer so they can then be sent to my son in Canada .
To copy letters sent to me if I have to send the letters back ie keep a copy ,
I would like to print photo taken with my phone / camera
I want it to work from my laptop ( not techie minded ) lol0 -
Brother laser does all that (Colour scanner inc) Vouchers don't need to be in colour, do they ??
Scanners are copiers too straight to paper. Why not cut out the paper trail and convert to pdf ?
You share the printer and will print from anywhere, and any PC you like, (in the world really, scary..)
