Fat is just the file system used for that ext HD, the other file system is ntfs, as to why its shown as bytes and not gigabytes i dont know, but there are converters you can use to convert it into GB0

If you right click on the h/drive in my computer then select properties it will give you bytes and gb.
click windows icon 'bottom left' then select 'computer'. then do as above.
fat is the file sytem it uses but you can only store large files upto 4gb in size.
Example if you had a video file over 4gb it will not be able to store it.
Use the ntfs system
Ntfs file system you can store files over 4gb in size.
To do this you will need to re-format the drive.0 -

have you ever used this drive before?
32,475,648 bytes is the same as 30.9mb (obviously alot less than you should have on there. try and format the drive if you have nothing saved on it.0 -
