my punto 1.2 16v sporting wont start

hi peps i have a fiat 1,2 16v sporting , i,ve just put a 2nd hand engine in which was running before i put it in. but now it wont start , i have put new ecu , imobiliser box etc on aswell but it wont go , it turns over with a slight knocking but wont fire and there isn;t any spark. please help .....
