LIVE music costs?

We have a local rythm and blues 4 piece for £300 - seen them before, theyre v. good at getting the crowd involved etc. They'll set up in afternoon and then do 2 sets on the night. Thay are letting us use their equipment in between times to play our own ipod playlist which we are having a great time compiling! I guess it depends where you live tho too- we are a bit in the wilds here so they couldn't charge city prices.

It's a well established band based about 30 miles away, they regularly play in our town, and we first saw them when we first started going out together 7 years ago.

We were quite pleased when they went through their "normal" plan when we met up with them at a gig last week, they will also put music through their PA for before their first set and during the buffet.

Think we are going to have our own ipod mix for during the wedding breakfast.
