Apologies for asking another dongle question but do all dongles offer free wifi and does the wifi still work on a PAYG dongle even if there is no credit..? Ta
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

You could either replace the dongle with a 3 MiFi thingy http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=192816
or plug dongle into a mobile router http://www.solwise.co.uk/3g-routers-3gwifimrw.htm

Dunno if the first one also has wired connections, but the second one has.

If i buy any of those does that mean i could run the internet on my pc and laptop and not have to pay an extra money for internet subscription?

Yes, it is very possible to share the connection from your Three dongle.

I had to do the same to update my Xbox360 due to port restrictions.

You can do it without buying anything. You can connect the laptop and desktop together by either ethernet cable or wi-fi (depending on what is available on each machine) and then "bridge" the connection from the dongle to either wi-fi or ethernet as appropriate.
