sport tickets

i advertised some cricket tickets on ebay last week 'buy-it-now price'

someone who just joined a couple of days ago(new member) no feedback score!!! bought the tickets(well bid for them)

i sent the invoice and have emailed him/her.
i have not received any payments from the winning bidder

i have also contacted ebay about non payment and so on.

there is information on the persons address and telephone number on where to send the tickets.
i tried calling the number but nobody answers and have also searched the post code but funnily enough it does not exsist.

have i been duped?

ebay did charge me nearly £10 for the advertisement and it seems that i have been duped. is there any way to get the money back?

cheers

If they have not provided correct contact info then they could be trying to dupe you as ebay don't check that the address and phone is correct

You can file a NPB dispute to claim your fees back if the buyer does not go through with the sale

u need to wait a certain amount of time before u do it though.

Have a look on help page on Ebay
or in one of the forums and iam sure someone will have posted it already

Once logged into your ebay account look down the left hand side near the bottom of the list you should see "dispute console" and click the option open a dispute and it gives you a list of options and off the top of my head you need "seller has not responded".

In most disputes you normally need to wait about 7 days before ebay let you open a dispute but when you try and open one it may come back and say you cannot open a dispute until 20 August for example

    This should sort you out

The only problem is though that you will get your Final value fees back but NOT your listing fees.
