Hi
Have just installed kaspersky 2010 on new laptop ,all running fine except it seems to slow my internet down a bit.
Was running windows defender previously and seemed faster.
Is there anything I can adjust to help?

Windows defender isnt an antivirus. In fact from what ive seen its never been any good at anything so you really cant compare the 2

Not too sure about adjustments of kaspersky as such but if you run as below we might be able to speed things up a little

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
