DLA Renewal Question

Heya everyone.
Just a quick question.
I recently sent back my DLA renewal form. Will my current DLA award stop until they decide if they're re-awarding me, or will it carry on as normal until it ends or until they make a decision?
Just want to know in advance so I'm prepared.
Thanks everyone.

No you will get your award for the current form up until it was awarded, My son gets DLA his was due to run out in April 10 ..we renewed in Feb 10 they said if his claim wasn't awarded he would have gotten it until April 10 because this is when it was due to end ..hope that makes sense

It (what I think Keanefan is saying?) is paid up until the date on your award letter. IE, if you fill the forms in now and your claim runs out in September, you get the award until September.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Thank you both.

I just wanted to make sure so that I could scrimp and save if it was going to be suspended but I'm glad that it won't be.
We're struggling for money alot right now so it makes life just that bit more bearable. 2019 Wins
