It just has to be reasonable that you need the help from another person.

I can self-care; but can't do certain things properly without input from another person.

I can cope with most of my personal care at the moment, but it's only because I have so much help in every other area that I have the energy to do so.

I'm confidently expecting my DLA renewal application to be turned down which will in turn reduce the support I receive and push my care needs back up...

If you got help from your cell mate then that is help, even if it wasn't officially provided.

if youve told them your only care need is getting dressed, its obvious why they only awarded you lrc

Ermmm, you get dla in prison .....? How come? I mean, HRM is meant to help with getting out and about .... and surely your care needs are the responsibility of the prison authorities ??????
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

shopping, cleaning and dog walking are not taken into account when assessing your care needs.

to qualify for mrc you would have to show sustained care needs during the day/night.
from your post (and i'm not an expert) it looks like the award was correct.
