Word document painfully slow to print

I have started to sell labels on Ebay, but over the last week, the word documents that I am using are painfully slow to start to print.
Some are taking up to an hour !!!
I am using an Epson Stylus Photo printer and the status is telling me that it is printing...but it ain't !!
It finally does print...but like I said earlier it can take up to an hour. The Word document is 20.4 MB
Can anyone help please.

I assume you've restarted your PC, cleared the print queue and power cycled the printer?

Do other things print ok? The only other thing I would comment on is that 20.4MB is HUGE for a Word document so the printer might not be able to handle it if you're sending a few at once - see if you can reduce the filesize - you must have some pretty big images in there for it to be that big and then print one at a time and see if that helps.

Some other things are equally as slow to print.
I have re-started my PC nd cleared the print queue, but it doesn't help.
I am trying to print a whole page of the same stickers, so reducing the file size might not be an option, as I am using pre - cut sticker sheets.

1) How many pages is the document?
2) Are you using any images on the labels?
2a) if so - how did you insert them into the document?
