Wouldn't the repair centre make more money if the phone wasn't water damaged and it was then repaired?

I'm sure the repair centre would then bill nokia more than £10 for the work carried out

Having the same problem with my iPhone and o2. Seems that these warranties are not worth the paper they are written on!

So if the phone needs an indicator to show water ingress to the rear of the phone how do you suppose they determine that water has come in from the front to damage the screen.. or is there another one inside, if there is they should at least open it up to show you at the time you return it.

OP, did you not have a problem recently with the tyres on your car... ie the police thought they were 'not quite legal'....and you were a bit upset?..as you are now!

Sorry i'm a relative newbie so I don't always understand the 'rules' of the forum, but what has this got to do with a rant about a Nokia warranty? I'm a bit confused, is it normal for posters to bring up something that you wrote on a totally different thread days/weeks/months ago? If so what is the reason for it? Is it just some sort of weird point scoring?

info-collector, you need to ask the MSE Team for permission to post on behalf of an organisation. If you click the red triangle in your post you can email them.
    Gone ... or have I?

The OP has a history of causing problems on the forum, indeed they have been banned twice before now. I imagine that gordikin was just reminding him that he can be rather unreasonable.

Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up, I just didn't know why someone would bring up old posts, so thought it best to ask. Cheers!

It's ok, I'm sure as you can imagine, as a newbie I was in a state of confusion. :)
