I suppose it's nearly as easy to get a room as to win the lottery

Persevere with it, I thought the same but last time I managed to get one for £1 and it was amazing, I would happily pay full price to stay again. Just have one date in mind and stick with it. Good Luck

Gave up on it a long time ago - as you say, it's like trying to win the lottery, but a LOT more hassle. Always impossible to get onto the site.
