Halifax Mortgages- Do you need a Halifax Current Account?

Hi.
My fiancee and I have just purchased a home through shared equity and the mortgage is with Halifax.
We both have Ultimate Reward Accounts with Bank of Scotland, although I am really keen to get rid of mine as I do not want to pay £12.50 a month for just a £300 interest free overdraft ( I do not use any of the other freebies)
So do we have to have a Halifax/BoS account for the mortgage to come out of as we have a joint flexi account with the Nationwide and would be keen have all the money out this account.
OR
Can I just stop my ultimate reward account and have the mortgage coming out my account?
Thanks in advance
Ian

but look to see if it says anything more specific in your Key Facts.0 -
