Tomatoes and hanging baskets

I have some tomato plants (garden pearl) that are suitable for hanging baskets. I have two spare 24" baskets and i just wondered is it one plant per basket? Thank you

    I'd do one, but you can try it and see what works best.

    If its really 24" and not a typo then in my opinion you would need 3 as a minimum.
    I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

    Thanks for your speedy replies, the baskets are mahoosive came from an old pub that is sadly no more, I've got six plants, 2 for a friend & 2 each for my baskets.

    I plant 3 plants in each hanging basket but also sprinkle cut & come again lettuce seeds which grow quite well. My baskets are just outside my back door so it is easy to pick a few leaves for lunch.

    I've done 2 and 3 plants in a normal 12" basket before and had literally hundreds of tomatoes from them.
