Just released:
Gordon Brown 'stepping down as Labour leader'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/8672859.stm
I told you he would resign, but no one would listen to me!! I told ya so!"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0 -
Just released? You're nearly two hours late with it ;-)0

about 20% of the votes is not a massive amount of votes though
Where did you get that figure from? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/election-2010/7692548/General-Election-2010-Parties-Share-of-the-Vote.html0 -
Each of the three main parties are playing a political merrygoround.
I actual thought that a hung parliament would kick the countries backside into gear and actual do something for the people instead of the parties on self interest.
Hague blasts the lab-lib offer of changing the voting system without public opinion yet the torie have offered a referendum on the alternative vote...Hold on what about the public opinion on proportional representation.
Neither one of them have the publics interest at heart but only interested in lining their own pockets and and working for the own interest.
Its a so called democracy so make it fair.
Personally my local MP has done well for my town and i like her and wanted her to stay. Though i do not agree with her main parties policies and much prefer another parties policies.
Why can we not have two votes. One for constituency and one for overall PM that takes into account every vote in the whole country. Surely you can not get any fairer than that.0 -
Why have the English always got to be so racist ? For gods sake - we face being ruled by a Tory govt when we have only ONE tory mp in the whole of Scotland !! Are we being racist and horrible ? No. We are outnumbered by the english ten to one - fifty million to five million. We have to stay because Westminster has the money !! We have oil and whisky - so stop saying we cost you money. No country on the planet with oil is poor. Except US.
I talk to people from all over the world in forums - and the only people who are ever racist are the English. And then you all say we are !!!0 -

only 65% of the voters voted
= 21% or 22% of voters.
they got the most votes but it doesn't mean it was a big number of voters.
