chose a prize

I've been putting of cashing in my points with 'chose-a-prize' cause they don't give you much information on the prizes and i was sure there had to be a catch.
I eventually cashed in 50 points for discounted cinema tickets and found out i was right.
They don't offer a discount on your ticket price like they claim to, but you can claim fixed price tickets by booking your film at least 10days in advance, and sending them a cheque for your tickets, they hope their fixed price is lower than going to the cinema directly, no doubt for some people it is and some people save money.
In my case it was actually dearer than going to the cinema directly so i won't be using that 'prize' but chose-a-prize are refusing to refund the points.
To anyone who thought about bothering with them, don't!

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
