Hello all
My hubby and I have to go to a circus themed party in June.
Can anyone think of anything of anything we can dress up as?
Want to avoid clowns, ring masters etc, too obvious!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!
Thanks!! xx:)

get your hubby to wear a tight fitting leotard and go as a couple of high flying gymnasts! or one of you go dressed as an elephant and the other as the trainer, whenever you tap them on the leg with your stick they have to stand drinking on one leg until you tap them again. Make a drinking game out of it

Just thought of another alternative one, what about going as one of those guys that walk around with the tray of peanuts/beers/icecreams etc. Its basically a bellboy outfight with a tray strapped to you. That way you can also hold multiple drinks and food whilst getting sloshed

I remember reading david Niven's autobiography about his days in Hollywood. He & Errol Flynn (I think) went to a circus themed party in a Big Top with all the great movie stars of the day, you can just imagine the costumes with the costume department for the movies working on them! However David & friend turned up in white overalls with a bucket & broom and asked where the elephants were!
Or maybe a wheelbarrow would have been better. HTH0 -
What about going as a magician and a magician's assistant. He could have a black cape and waistcoat and hat and you could wear a spangly dress with over the top make up, he could have a pencilled on moustache.
Or you could go as a knife thrower and assistant and try and get one of those comedy knives or arrows that look like they go through your head. He could wear a white shirt with fake blood on it.0
