Is my post in the right place? Or should it be in the mobile phone section?

I'd say your post is in the right place but you might get more replies in the evenings and weekends.

I sync my iPhone with Google Calendar so can't really help, but have you got the calendar selected to sync in your iPhone settings within iTunes?

Thanks -yes have got all correct selections in phone on itunes as I say has been working absolutely fine for 18 months with xp and earlier version of itunes. Its only since iv'e upgraged to windows 7 and itunes 9.1 that the problem has occured. I have a gut fealling it is something to do with comunication between these 2 programmes.

There are lots of threads on Google where people have had the same problem, a number of suggestions involve messing with the .pst file which I'd be reluctant to do. However, I did notice a useful post about iTunes diagnostics that may be worth trying:

Open itunes, click help, click "run diagnostic". A window will pop up, make sure the iphone connectivity and iphone sync are checked. Click the next button and follow the prompts.

See if that throws up any info or fixes anything and try syncing again afterwards - it seems to have worked for some people.

    Hope that helps!

Unfortunately I can't post the link as I only have a few posts, but if you google iphone not syncing with outlook 2003 it's the third entry down - lots of things to try in there.
