Watchdog: Mobile phone contracts whilst OOA

When my husband went on det his phone company wouldn't cancel the contract, but changed the tariff so that he was paying the lowest possible one. (I think it was £8 a month or something similar). I can't remember exactly what happened, but they also credited his account, and we didn't end up too much out of pocket over it.
