Broken electric recliner

Help, my electric recliner has broken, I've had it about a year and a half - still paying the DFS interest free payments! Any ideas what I do about fixing it - is it pricey? I guess I'm soo heavy that the motor has strained (no I'm not kidding).
Only blessing is that I can sit and recline at OH's end of the sofa as I kicked him out, trouble is its not comfy as the arm is on the wrong side for my mouse!

The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j
