I want to purchase a repossion property but the agent has told me I cannot offer more than the asking price. Surely this cant be true. Shouldnt it be in the bank interest to make as money as posibly ?

Put your offer in writing via the EA. You can offer asking price, less, or more. Up to you! He has a legal duty to pass it on to the vendors.0
