If that is repeated across the Country they are in with a majority..
Interesting that the labour candidate there was a first time 26-year old. Wonder if that put people off voting Labour there as strongly as usual?0 -
Yep, I wouldn't be so keen on voting for a 26-year old girl wonder.0

Some of these BBC graphics are REALLY cheesy!
Sky News also has an election special on if you don't like the BBC's coverage. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I just think a few Cons that wouldn't of bothered voting heard Camerons call to arms & thought they were in with a chance...
Watching the BBC right now wondering if my money is paying for stars to get p issed.........Not Again0 -
I can't believe that people left it so late to vote! I know with shift work, shuttling around kids etc. etc. that you might not have time during the day - but surely leaving it 'till about 9.30-9.45pm is taking a huge risk???0

I know the polling stations were busier today but how come people didn't get to vote because of queues....surely with the stations open from 7.30 this morning until 10 tonight there would have been plenty of time, even for people working shifts.
Did people actually get turned away? I got mine in first thing this am - I'm usually in the last tranche.0 -

Agreed. It's one thing that annoys me actually. Why should I care about Dom Joly's or Fern Britten's opinion. They'd better be paying for their caviar and champers :mad::mad:0 -

In Sheffield apparently and it was a close thing. I do have some sympathy. There were people who were in line at 9.10pm and still didn't get to vote. I wouldn't have left voting until the last minute but would still have thought that if I got to the polling station before say 9.30 there wouldn't be a problem as it's never taken longer than five minutes in the past.
ETA: Sky News saying that there have also been hundreds unable to vote in Islington and Newcastle, and that police have had to be called to some polling stations. This could be a big news story come tomorrow. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? So, next safe seat to Labour - Washington, Tyne & Wear. Isn't this where a lot of benefits get paid out from? ..............0
