I wonder what impact postal votes (which are not accounted for in those figures) will have...

Incredible stuff. All the Labour bigwigs- Mandelson, Harman are saying Cameron hasn't won enough and that they want a strong government (i.e a Lib Dem coalition) and are now talking about electoral reform!! It's like they're reading a pre prepared script. So Labour have lost and are still going to win!!!! It's such a fitting postscript to the New Labour project. I love it!!!!!!!:T

When are the final results revealed? Will someone wake me up when they're in. I'm bound to have fallen asleep.

Not sure you're ever going to wake up. I'm trying to follow the Election and keep up with Ash's posts and the combined prognosis of all that lot is, um, we're all dead.

Asheron? He's a figment of my imagination, I'm convinced he no-longer exists when my internet connection's off.

Stocks are all over the place, and I was hoping for an easy day tomorrow too.

Seems a bit unfair that Lib Dems could end up with fewer MPs than in the current parliament given how well it appeared they had done in the run up.

AFAIK, we should get an idea by about 2.3 /3.00 am

    My big decision now is:-

    a. Stay up until I can't hack it any longer.
    b. Go now for a shower and a hairwash, settle down on the sofa in my dressing gown, where I can dose on and off.
    c. Go to bed early in the hope of waking in the early hours and staying awake.

    Shall I start a poll? :p

Yep, absolutely. I think there will be a lot of us going to work with matchsticks in our eyes tomorrow. Most exciting election ever.

Sorry, viva, I'm definitely getting over-excited..... this was the post I meant to quote from just now!

Paxo just suggested to Mandy that an attempt to stay in power with the Libs would be tantamount to a coup

we're sort of optiong for ''2''. In that we are going t tke a shower break now, then dh will dose in and out while I try and stay awake. I've been sleeping really badly, but...ridiculously I am sleepier tonight! But I'm going to try.
