Glass / Plastic found in M&S Food

My 10 yr old was eating a ready made meal and chewed this foreign object it was sharp. Took said object to M&S they sent off for research back to the manufacturer and the results came back as domestic pyrex glass not found in the factory and a £25 voucher for my inconvienience.

This to me feels like the blame is on me I cooked the meal in the foil as per instructions and nothing else. I phoned customer services to which they sympathise I requested foreign object to be returned and they will receive back the £25 voucher.

Where do I go from here health and safety ?

I'm really upset of not only what could of happened to my boy (my 2yr old also had some of the meal)
but of coarse the manufacturer is going to deny it originated from their factory M&S contract is worth money.

Looking forward to everyone's replies.

Just findout the number for the higher-level managers of M&S.

Dont waste your time on the call centre team leaders or even customer-relations manager,
its the operations managing director or customer-relations director that you need to get through to and demand that they explain to you what they will do to ensure that this doesn't happen ever in the future.

(And likely will increase your compensation to £250 from that tiny £25)

Pyrex is a glass. Commonly found in microwave plates. Are you sure it not chipped?

What there saying is that they don't know how it got there and the food should have never coming into contact with the glass in its production line.

Taking it higher will make no difference to this outcome expect maybe a bigger check.

OP must be looking for £1k, £10k or £100k?

To me it looks like M+S have taken it pretty seriously if they have identified what it was made from.

If it couldn't have come from their factory then I think that the £25 voiucher is very generous.
