I have a bucket full of 33" and 7" vinyl records which are gathering dust in my attic. In yesterdays Dail Mail I saw a turntable advertised which could be plugged into your PC via a USB cable and allow you to record the vinyl onto your PC and if you wish you can then burn the music onto a CD. This sounds good to me but the price of £119.00 seems a bit high. Does anyone have one of these t/tables or will the savvy amongst you say tha theres an easier cheaper system on the market :j :j :j

if you have a turntable, just get a preamp from maplins, and plug it into your soundcard line in, use audacity to record to wav, then burn to CD. If you have a turntable and amp already, use your headphone socket, plug it into line in, and do the same, costs nothing.
