very.co.uk offered me buy-now-pay-later then took it away after purchase

Hi All,
Can anyone advise me on my next move? Last month I surfed the net for a good deal on a washing machine, and found a great price on a Beko at very.co.uk (apparently their part of Littlewoods), and it also came with 1 year's deferred payment, if I pay it off within one year there's no interest.
So I signed up to very, bought the WM on the deferred payment option and got an order confirmation email from very that included the deferred payment option. The WM arrived late last month and I'm happy with it. A week later my CC statement arrived and I've been charged the full amount for the WM to the card.
I emailed very customer service, they replied saying 'sorry, your account is a cash only account'. I replied saying that I had an order confirmation from them clearly stating that I was on a deferred payment scheme. But they are consistently saying 'sorry, your account is a cash only account'.
Apart from cus'ing under my breath, paying it off and putting it down to stupidly buying from an unknown internet company instead of a physical high street shop like Comet or Currys where you can at least go and talk to someone, is there anything I can do to get very.co.uk to honour the original terms of the purchase?
Ta.

Usually you dont have to put your card details in when you are ordering something on your account. Once it's been taken I don't really think there is anything that you can do tbh.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0

I would just run it past trading standards in case their is a history of them doing it.0

You will see in their terms and conditions that the buy now pay next year option is clearly stated as being only for customers with a credit account and having sufficient credit available to cover the purchase and any outstanding purchases. It also states that if you do not have this that although the option shows as valid on your statement you are not entitled to it. so unfortunately you may find there is nothing you can do.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! Thanks for all your replies. I didn't think there would be much I could do about it, short of going to Trading Standards/CAB/Ombudsman.
What advice did I give someone at work the other week?...
... oh yeah, caveat emptor :embarasse0 -

Lol I know mate I know, Im still happily plodding along with a 12 year old Hotpoint/Creda machine that my late Dad got me when he worked at the factory! I touch wood every time I use it
My Mum had a Beko (Hotpoint/Creda long gone sadly) that lasted just over 18 months before it went to washer heaven (aided with a kick
). Ive since heard one or two people do that sucking air through the teeth thing at the mention of the name
But yep, like you say, cheap and cheerful. You may do well to talk to it nicely, stroke it and generally treat it like a king. It may last longer for you
My Mother can be a crotchety old dear at times, perhaps hers wanted out (wouldnt blame it!!) 0
