Help deciding what savings account to open

Hi
I have £8.000 in a Passbook account with Yorkshire Bank, and was wanting to transfer it.
I just opened a Natwest step account for day to day money, and they seem to be ok, so my only choice with them is either a first reserve, or reward reserve account.
I only stick money in my yorkshire bank account once about every 3 years because its 20 mins walk away (yes im lazy)
I have a post office near me, so was thinking of opening a post office instant saver?.
Also is sticking it in just a natwest step account good?. Then i can have a debit card to withdraw money from there if i need it.
I have a yorkshire bank cash isa already.
I still can't decide what account to put it in. I want to move it from yorkshire bank as honestly, i go there once every three year and have never spent the money in that account so want to bring it `closer` within my reach.
Thanks for any help

As a Serious MoneySaving Fan, you must know where to find information on the best savings accounts on offer. e.g. here.
I don't really understand what it is you need help with.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
