unauthorized over draft

    yes i have a weekly overdraft of £400. the bank at first encouraged me , to keep uppin the overdraft to pay for my charges. i only earn £
    145 a week which means i have always been overdrawn. im livin right on the edge of this which means each month i am again payin for an unplanned overdraft..... hope that makes more sense.....

    An overdraft is not usually the cheapest way to borrow money long term.

    What is more concerning is that you appear to continually be spending more than you earn with no clear way to repay what you are borrowing.

    I would suggest you take some advice on that. Perhaps the nice folk over on the debt free wannabe board could help you, or perhaps go and speak to the CAB where you will be able to talk face to face with someone who can go through all your income & expenditure in detail and give you some clearly required help in resolving your financial difficulties.

    Whilst attempting to reclaim bank charges may be part of that, even if successful then I don't think it will resolve all your financial problems ... and if the bank feels the same way, they may decide not to offer you any refund anyway as all it will do is delay & prolong what will ultimately occur unless you also take other action also.
