According to FT alphaville, rumours are someone pressed the wrong button in Procter & Gamble... taking the price down 30%... and kicking the automated selling machines into action.

    Ya couldn't make it up.

Someones gonna lose their bonus this christmas.

I'm still fifteen minutes behind so anything could have happened, but right this minute that graph does look like a dead cat bounce, if of course they could bounce. I can sadly confim that they don't cushion an impact very well either.

I don't know whether I find that interesting, amusing, confusing or just downright f*cking scary.

    Probably the latter.

Just in time for the election.

Just what a new PM wants to greet them on their first day at work - a bloody massive economic crisis.

Let us all pray that George Osborne is indisposed - or that we get a hung parliament and Vince.

The bottom line is, the economic crisis was never over, how many times have I said that it was all fake, masked by reducing IR's and encouraging even more debt..... all we have done in the last 12 months is make the inevitable outcome worse.

Too many heads in the sand I'm afraid, where is Conrad when you need him, I'm sure we can cure all this with a bit of 'human spirit'.

I've heard that there could possibly be an oil shortage over the next few years too, which certainly won't help.

I think they've just started to realise that Greece is a country, not a movie

They've also realised that Athens isn't a bunch of High Street shops any more selling over-priced posters of James Dean.

What I've always admired about the market is its collective intelligence.

Anyway. We're all doomed and tomorrow the UK is up for sale on eBay.
