    Yeah, well the Panic of 1870 beat that one hands down, didn't it. And they had real problems in the Crash of 1816 - there wasn't even food for sale!

    Well it has to come, doesn't it, sooner or later - commonsense dictates the rest of the unwinding has to happen sooner or later...

    Obviously, the markets have done a pretty good job at staying rational longer than etc... but eventually, even they need to reflect the reality.

    The Long Emergency starts today. In the Great Depression, the market bottom was found after 90% decline and 5 bear rallies which bankrupted millions.
