It could be that the car has had a 2nd-hand replacement dashboard fitted, so actually shows the mileage of the car it came from. Best thing to do is to contact the previous owner (details are in the log book).Never Knowingly Understood.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm sure something like would have needed to be indicated on the log book or other documentation. What I really need is a suggestion of what I can request from the Dealer? So far he's not responded to my email but I think I'm going to write another one and request he replies and lets me know what he proposes or I will be contacting Trading Standards with the information I have so far sourced.BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500
