Please can anyone help (Martin I dont know if you do personal replies, but one would be much appreciated please!!!)
I'm with Scottish Power for gas / elec, pay monthly by dd. I'm on the online energy service with capped price until 2008 (or something) I cant get out of my contract as I owe them money and have come to an amicable agreement with them about repaying (their fault, long story), but I'm sure I'm paying over the odds. Please can someone tell me which of Sp's services is likely to be the cheapest? They have several options and I havent the faintest idea whether the one I'm on is the best?
Any help would be gratefully received!

If you are on the online energy service, and are capped 'till 2008 then you are probably already on the cheapest tarrif.
The only way you wouldn't be is if you have only just gone onto it.
There current online premier plus dual fuel costs are as follows (East Midlands)
Gas: Daily service charge: 13.14p, Units 2.500p/kwh(ex vat)
Elec: Daily Service Charge: 13.7p. Units 7.657p/kwh.(ex vat)
Why don't you give their customer services a ring? That gum you like is coming back in style.0
