Personally I would put it in a jiffy bag, put the postage on it and put it in the post box. You can put anything within reason in a post box as long as it fits through the slot.
I print the postage off online, and do this for as many items as I can.
Advantage - saves waiting in a queue behind 1000 pensioners at the post office.
Disadvantage - you wont have any proof of postage, so if the buyer doesnt receive the item (or claims not to have received it) then you will have no come back.0 -
Be careful though- my cd's (wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap and in a plastic envelope/bag) with small piece of paper weigh over 100g- costing 81p to post (and not 51p as this only covers up to 100g). Don't want buyer ending up with a fee!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Like Orkney says is this under or over 100g as most CDs in a case go over the 100g limit and will cost 81p 2nd class.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
