Magazine Subscription Questions

Hi all, apologies if this is covered elsewhere, I can't find anything.
I subscribe to time out magazine, a weekly listings magazine. I recently moved house and so changed my address with them, no problems.
First week, I never recieved my magazine. I contacted them to check they had changed the address, they had, and sent me a replacement (useless as being a listings mag, if its a week late, the listings are a week late).
Week two, I didnt recieve my magazine again. I complained again but they didnt contact me at all.
Week 3, (this week), still no magazine.
I am pretty annoyed about this, so contacted their complaints department saying I wanted to cancel my subscription and I expected a refund for the missing 2 issues and the remaining issues I had paid for (you are charged every 12 issues).
They replied that I was not entitled to a refund if I cancelled, but I could cancel at the end of the billing period and recieve the remaining issues I had paid for. They would also extend it by one issue to cover the missing ones.
They also said they had spoken to the courier about non-delivery of issues and it should be fine next week, but would change it to royal mail if problems persisted.
SO my question, I do believe I am entitled to a refund as I was buying a good and they failed ot deliver on their contract, but I am not sure what legislation to quote to them regarding it......also, I would be happy to remain subscribed but think already their couriers have proven irresponsible and think I should get something more than 1 extra issue!
Thanks for your help!

is it delivered by courier or RM just now?0 -
They tell me its delivered by courier at the moment...I could change to RM if "problems persist"....I think I am just being a bit picky as I feel like I have paid for a good/ service and they have failed to deliver..!:beer:0

i agree, just seems strange they say its via courier for a magazine
i could beleive it more if it was sent via downstream access with the likes of TNT,DHL who then shunt it onto RM to deliver
it could be a case they have had printing issues, you often get it where the address print doesnt come out on the magazine sleeves0
