Round 2 of the ecoFLEX Experience starts now!
It's time to demonstrate your 'green' driving skills in Round 2 of the Vauxhall ecoFLEX Experience. The green-driving simulator game is ready for you to play!
In this game you'll need to complete eight tasks based on everyday driving situations. As you'll see, anticipatory driving and good timing are crucial for saving fuel. The greener your driving skills are, the more points you'll score.
Give it your best effort and don't forget you can play more than once. The highest-scoring participant in each country will go on to compete for the top prizes at our real-life driving events in Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden in July.
Just played it and it's nothing to do with green driving, it's more about how good your pc is and how fast you can respond to the moving scale. I got rank 4, but didn't enter, as practice makes perfect.

1. To participate you must be 21 or older and hold a valid full UK driving licence.*

2. The first thing you have to do is register for the online competition. You must register before 11 June 2010.

3. Once you have received your registration confirmation you can login to play Round 1 (Online Quiz). You need to get at least 8 out of 10 questions right before your time runs out. You can take the quiz more than once.

4. If you score enough points you will go through to the second round. You must complete Round 1 before 11 June 2010. You will be notified when Round 2 begins.

I thought it might be worth posting more details about what you have to do to enter as it might make it impossible for some poeple:

The game is divided into three rounds:

1 – Online Quiz: Answer 10 questions about environmental driving in the shortest time possible and score enough points to qualify for the second round. If you are not happy with your result, try again. Enter before 11th June.

2 – Online Simulator: Qualifiers from the quiz will be tested in our online driving simulator starting 17th May. Complete the online driving game in the shortest time. The best scorer from each participating country qualifies for the live driving event in Copenhagen.

3 – Driving Event: Takes place in Copenhagen and Malmö on 22-24 July 2010. For the lucky finalists this unique event is your chance to demonstrate your eco-driving skills at the wheel of real ecoFLEX cars, at the location of the last UN Climate Change Conference, and in competition with Europe’s greenest drivers!

Got a message to say the next part of the comp is here but I can't make any sense of the game, perhaps it's my computer. It says to press enter to start and change gear, but it starts of very slow and then just jumps to the end. Says my ecological footprint is too big or some such thing!

Anyone else had better luck? I found the Mitsubishi game impossible as well, and my son didn't do any better.
